MediaMVP failed to locate a GUI server !

Goodluck, but you might want to give up on this one.

I had the same problem using my MVP with a wireless bridge. This is after using the MVP with a different model bridge for a long time without any problems. Now using any bridge causes this error ("failed to locate GUI"). However, if I hook it up with a direct wire everything runs fine.

This leads me to believe its some issue with response speed over the network (e.g., the TFTP errors suggested above).

At the time of writing this, the thread has over 1200 views, so I assume I'm not alone with this problem.

I've come to the conclusion that the MVP is just a really crappy piece of hardware, and I'm going to have to wait until I get it on a faster network to see if that fixes it, whether that comes in the form of a wireless N upgrade or running a direct wire.

In fact, I'm getting a draft N router for my network next week, so I'm really hoping that will fix things. Who knows.
