Hmm, that's surprising then, because if I share my recording directory with SMB and play them I can seek just fine. Must be something different about playback through the plugin. I'll have to get a log and see if anyone on the XBMC forums can help.

If you try context menu - that has 'Play with' and then you can select mplayer or dvdplayer. Maybe a different player helps?

Seem to be some differences though - I don't have a delete button in my context menu. If I remember well there is an option to allow deletion of files in the XBMC settings.

Correct. There is a setting for that. I wonder if it is possible to hook into that with the script to send the delete command to the Webserver as well?

hi,

Found the 'allow delete and rename' setting and that seems to work - issue is that it does not dynamically update the recordings list. You have to reload the list of recordings to see the delete. Would be nice if XBMC did that automatically or triggered a reload - I can't do anything about that I'm afraid.

Did a fix to skip fragmented recordings - did not bother to make a zip file with the complete package. Remove .txt from the attachment and put the file in /plugin/video/sagetv directory and it should work.

There may be a way to mod the popup to do that. I'll look into it. It'll have to be a skin edit, but better than nothing

Good enough for me. I'll do a diff to see where the change occurred, so I can learn a bit .

Nuka1195 answered on the XBMC forum that this can be fixed using:

I'm not sure if I'm too excited by this one - in my mind the plugin should refresh itself after a delete (not so efficient) or remove the one entry which got deleted (far better).

I'm afraid I don't have ambition nor time to get this fixed right now so I guess this is an invitation or a cry for help.
