I'm 349** I'll have to fire off an email. Maybe I'm held back because I'm an international order? I hope not.

The link off that page is broken - the author's site no longer has a link to the download either, just some other tool.

I'll be glad when a full suite of editing/merging/converting tools for H264 TS files finds its way to the mainstream - I miss comskip for my recordings already - my remote is starting to get worn out.

Coincidentally, I was just searching the VideoRedo site for information on supporting h.264. From what I could find, it looks like it is in development but with no release information announced yet.

Although we have tons of recording space, my wife and I are both teachers and we like to pull things off to show at school. VideoRedo has made it easy to edit everything but the specific clips we want, and then burn it to a DVD. Hopefully they get h.264 implemented soon.

Indeed, I really like working with VideoRedo, hopefully they will have an updated version with h.264 support soon.

I just got an email from Hauppauge Digital Europe saying that the HD PVR wont be shipping until late July early August! That is just not on, I pay good money just like every one else why the hell should I have to wait longer!

Going to send them another email requesting a US unit.

So the unit in it's current state wont record 50Hz? Well that would be disappointing as I wont be able to record my pay TV but there is some other stuff I'll be recording in 60Hz. So I'm happy to have the unit now and wait for for the drivers to be updated with 50Hz support. I mean the hardware is all the same right?

Ah OK, well it uses a DC power adapter so I just need to get an Aussie power adapter for it.

I can see it's 5 Volts, could someone tell me what amps are one the power adapter, 500mA, 1A? Does anyone know what the polarity of the plug is?

Add me to the list of delivered and running

Got my two tuners last Friday. Spent a couple of hours Sunday running into various little issues getting it working. Dual tuner seems to working like a champ though. I'm changing channels via the built-in blaster on the 1st and via firewire on the 2nd tuner.

I deployed this to a test "server" so it doesn't get in the way until I get all the kinks worked out. The box is a P4 3.4 hyper-threaded with a 750GB USB drive. CPU usage on the server never goes above 10-15%. If I'm foolish enough to play a video on this box, the processor pegs hard.

On my client stations, 720p and 480i/p are working great. I'm having playback issues at 1080i. Even on a quad-core, the client is stuttering with CPU usage hovering at 15-20%. I'm guessing I am getting hard drive thrash on my weak little lappy server. It could also be a codec issue but I'm using PowerDVD and people have reported success there.

Either way, it looks promising.

Well I got my order fixed up. I got an email saying that normally Singapore handle the Australian orders. I was never told this in the first place. If I had of known this I would have told them in the beginning to ship it from the US and not wait for Singapore.

So my order should ship second week of July. I hope they ship it earlier but it's better than late July or in August.

EDIT: I'm order #349** by the way so I hope they are giving my priority over everyone else except the RMA's.
