I think your confused, the HD-PVR has yet to ship to customers. Pre-Orders should be shipping next week according to Hauppauge, and since I payed for the fastest shipping I should have mine before the end of next week. That of course is assuming they are not delayed again.

Why would you possibly think it was already shipping? The fact that the website says May 1?... silly man : )

I think that once people have them & are posting about their experiences with them instead of the desire to have them, the discussion should move to the hardware forum. For now, this is 'just' a discussion of a new product coming out.

They never gave me a date, just said "this week". Did anyone get a firm date? Just wondering as I'm thinking of adding another one to my order.

Sorry if I missed it... did anyone from Sage ever confirm or deny if more than one of these at a time can be connected to a Sage server? I'm in queue for one as well but eventually I'd like two...

no word from Sage. I did call Hauppauge and was told the driver does not support two HD PVR on one computer. Not sure if that means two HD PVR will not work, and i kept asking different questions trying to find a way to use two, and kept getting told that the driver does not support two or more HD PVRs on one computer.

That's pretty disappointing if true.

Don't forget the network encoder route - if all else fails we can probably get 2 of these working that way.....

When I asked, Hauppage replied that the drivers do support more than one HD-PVR.

I didn't go back to look through the last 27 pages of this thread, but I recall that Hauppauge had said that the drivers supported more then one HDPVR at a time, but that they hadn't been testing it this way.

I think the drivers theoretically support multiple HD-PVRs, but the Hauppauge software does not, nor does the IR blaster software. I think its a safe bet that Sage will support multiple devices, but you'll probably need to use USB-IRT instead of the bundled blasters.

Talking to Hauppauge today about another issue I asked when the HD-PVR units would be shipped. They said 500 will be shipped tomorrow, but that they had 1200 ordered. The rest apparently wont be till next week or latter. The delay is supposedly due to a faulty power switch.

Wow.. you've gotta love the delays. At least they're giving us info into why the delays are occurring though.

Hopefully we're all in that first 500 batch, then again, I bet we are probably not

You may be last, but you'll undoubtedly get one with a good power supply. Those of us up front........
