It's not a tuner issue here tho, the tuners look fine on other extenders.

I think this is still a problem on the new units. I just got a new HD100 and the first thing I noticed after hooking it up was how over saturated the colors are via Component. I can compensate by adjusting the TV settings, but then my other sources (DirecTV receiver and HD-DVD player) are under saturated.

Here's the process I follow with my HTPC, hopefully it will be simplier when my HD100 arrives;

1. Use standard DVD player with HDMI to calibrate the input to be used for HTPC. (I use AVIA to calibrate). Adjust only settings on the display. This ensures your display is correct

2. Connect HTPC to that input and calibrate again using AVIA in PC DVD drive. This time, DO NOT TOUCH DISPLAY CONTROLS. Use only control available in HTPC.

3. Connect standard DVD player to server capture card (component, composite or whatever). Fire up Sage Client on HTPC and calibrate using only conrtrols in sage. DO NOT ADJUST DISPLAY OR HTPC CONTROLS.

This process in turn calibrates display, sage client htpc and sage itself. Works a treat.
