Excellent work! Thanks a lot!

Just wondering how I change the default orange highlight coloring?
I looked in them.properties in the folder: ....SageMCE\Themes\Default but didn't see anything there.

Thanks,
Chris

I'd also like to know how to change the color of the highlighted channel. Thanks for making such a neat add on for SageMC.

in the theme.properties file, add this line :

amg/color_airinginfo=0xnnnnnn

where nnnnnn is the hex value (RGB) of the color that you want to be.

I have a suggestion for the AMG. When you select a channel, the guide stays on for about another 5 seconds. I'm done with the guide when I select a show, so I don't need to look at it anymore. If you could put an option in a future release that would close the guide after a channel is selected I think people might find that useful. Either way, the guide is great & thanks for all the time you put into this.

That's a good suggestion and the way I expected it would work. FYI, you can make the guide disappear immediately by pressing the left arrow.

I considered doing that early on myself. I ended up leaving the guide up because that's what the normal MiniGuide does as well. I'll look into that for future versions.

I've got a silly question, regarding the channel ordering in the AMG. On my normal guide, I have channels listed like this:
  • 2 - PBS
  • 3 - CBS
  • 4 - ABC
  • 5 - PBS
and so on. While in the full guide, page down scrolls down to the next page (6, 7, 8 and 9). In the AMG however, I cant seem to get this behavior. Looking at this pic:

So my question is, have I missed an obvious setting somewhere to get the AMG listing to mirror the main guide? Or cant it do this, in which case can I request that option?

The latest version of SageMC has an option to Reverse the navigation in the mini-guide. I think this is over in the Screen Specific settings (same area that you selected "External STVi" to enable the AMG). So set that to reverse*, and then toggle the Navigation setting of the AMG until you get the layout and direction that you are looking for.

FYI - In future versions of the AMG that setting will be renamed to Channel Order (Ascending or Descending).

Yup, I'm positive I didnt change a setting in that part other than the EXternal STVi. I saw one for the main guide (which obviously didnt apply). I'll check it out tonight. thanks!

What do you guys think?
Any idea when this update will be available (having the title fill the width of the AMG display for the channel with focus)?

Very soon. I got sidetracked for awhile (2 new toys - iPhone and a new car) but I actually loaded up my dev machine yesterday and started polishing up a new release.

I've got some cool ideas floating around for release 2.0 - so this release will just be few cosmetic things......

You're right, it should be a general setting. I'll add this option into SageMC.

Is there a way to reduce the font size of the non-highlighted channel? Is that a SageMC font setting, or could an option be added to allow it to be changed (smaller)?

Maybe I read it wrong, but I could have sworn that I read somewhere you were planning on getting the channel order to display the way some of us were hoping to see in this update.

Also, is there a way to change the focus channel # font size?

The order has been available since the last update of the Core SageMC - see this post :

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...8&postcount=88

There isn't a way to change the focus channel number / name font size.

Very nice! Thanks!!

I'm just thrilled. First, I discover that the channel order can be adjust... and... I'm finally able to change that default orange color of the focus to something that matches my taste better.....

PS: There's a little grey alphablended area at the bottom that shouldn't be there after resizing.. but pretty minor...

send me a screen shot with the options menu open - it looks like something might be wonky with some of the settings there to make the alpha extend at the bottom.
