I did, and got an encouraging reply. I suspect the next release of SageMC will have what I need for total OSD control. But when that release is going to be? No telling.

Last I heard there is a next release that was in progress and delayed a bit due to "real life" things. No timetable, but it will be here eventually. Can't wait for that day to come but I know it will come when they have time.

I am trying to hold of making the switch until...
1. All the HD-PVR issues are solved as my adaptec AVC-3610 doesn't work with Sage for some reason.

2. I try to limit my TCO of Sage (I have a lot of money invested in Vista extenders (X360s).

We have our first child due in October so the wife has put a chokehold on the wallet.

However I am tired of waiting for the DirecTV HDPC-20, I mean it would be great to get VOD and (the ability to watch) PPV from DirecTV, but as that won't be happening for quite some time I am no longer wanting to wait until late 09 or 2010.

Plus with several of my VMC cohorts moving over I am not going to have anyone to talk to on TGB any more

The nice changes you make to SageMC make it hard to wait though...

LOVE (love) the Foofaraw theme! Been using it since I converted to SageMC. Can't wait to see the update in action.

Hey BTL, I like this theme a lot! When I add a new client machine at my house, I'd definitely consider this.

If it was my theme, the only thing I'd change is making the square corners to be slightly rounded...

bialio, great looking theme. Definitely keep us posted as to a download version. I would love to give it a try. I think I would really like it. I am currently using your CenterSage theme and am really enjoying it.

What do you think of this one? It's using a "Final Fantasy" background with the new HText Menu Style. I'm still playing around with the layout a bit, but its a good idea of what you can do with the new version of SageMC 6.3.8 without much work

Dock Style Menu with Desenchantee Background



Dark Knight with the Htext menu (layout attached) photo from meligrove.com (a great treasure of background and other images)


While I like the dock-style menu, I'm really loving the flexibility the simple Htext menu gives us. I'm really excited to see what kind of themes come out of this one.

Looking good, Final Fantasy is my favorite one at the moment.

Edit: Does the background image effect all screens like My Movies or just the Main Menu background ? Are you using the New customizable Menu Graphic to main menu (add menu_graphic.png to theme). As I'm not sure what that is and cant get it to work anyway.
