I ordered this morning as well as well as the SageTV 6.0 upgrade for users of 4.0 or below.
I originally had V1.6 and left at V2.x or so for MCE 2005. Using a XBOX 360 as an extender - horrible noise plus various artificial limitation of file playback and DRM crap! (I don't want to waste time transcoding everything to WMV)

As one can tell, the HD extender is going to replace the XBOX 360

So i guess you selected overnight shipping.

I wasn't that impatient. I figure what's a few days compared to a year (i.e. preview at 2007 CES).

One can only hope.

I'm sure they had the shipping dept in at 6 am this morning just to get these bad boys out the door.

I agree! They should have had them sitting there all lined up just waiting to affix the shipping labels. Oh and a call into UPS that they needed several trucks ASAP for pickup.

Now I have my credit card, I have ordered.

I wonder how long it will take to get to me in the UK?

Hopefully, it will be here in time for Christmas. In answer to my other posts about handling the wife, she said that she hoped I'd enjoy my Christmass present! So I guess there will be no delayed reaction barney after all

EDIT

Just noticed the 'Ships only to USA and Canada'! I guess I'll just have to wait and see what's happening. Does anyone know of a UK/EU outlet?

I'm in for 1. One more will be in the mail as soon as I figure out how to wirelessly stream HD up to my bedroom (or grow some balls and climb around in the attic for a few hours with some CAT5).

Now I have to get my new server to boot . I'm glad I didn't skimp on the extra $100 in parts and reuse crucial parts from my actual server.

I just received my license e-mail as well. So now the waiting game begins.

In the meantime, with this license I assume I can have some fun with Placeshifter? This won't be an issue when the Extender arrives correct?

Um, how do you use Placeshifter?

If we already have Extender licenses from our MVP's, do we need to use the new key with the HD Extender, or will it recognize the valid license when it connects to the server?

I emailed them over 5 hours ago, but no response yet (tho part of that would have been pre-normal work hours in PST) I tried a different card and got the same error message, so assuming they locked my sage account or something.

Funny thing is the CC company changed their story a little and the guy thinks that buying DVD Profiler a few days ago through paypal and then attempting to buy through Frey worked together to lock the card....hrrrrm

...not only am I still blocked from purchasing, but they have now raised shipping costs $2-4 across all methods from what it was earlier today, yay me =(

I'm in the same boat with the error message... I called my card company and they said everything was fine.. I am trying to order 3 plus sage licenses, so a $700 sale plus shipping and I haven't gotten an email back after 3 hours... I know I am being impatient, but I am trying to give them money..
