You shouldn't have to. Either the refresh media or exiting out of My Videos and going back in should have shown the covers.

Brent & elaw:

I am also having the exact same problem you described. I cannot import or change any metadata for my DVD or video collection. My problem started after a recent server change. I get an error when I try to use the IMDB lookup and when I do a DVD Profiler import nothing actually imports even though the data is there. I hope we can get this figured out.

high quality images

hi, is it possible for to configure the dvdprofiler import to import the high quality covers into sagemc rather than the thumbnails? or would this cause a significant slow down when loading screens?, just a though as i'm using the imovies screen and when enlarged some of the thumnails look a bit grainy

Cheers

The thumbnails are 180 x 252. The hi-res images are like 500 x 700. It would slow it down, especially on HD Extenders but I don't know how much. Might be nice if it was an option to choose one or the other.

i've being playing a bit and created a new directory structure c:\dvdprofilerhighres\Images\Thumbnails and copied the high res images into the thumbnails directory, then changed the sagemc dvdprofiler path to c:\dvdprofilerhighres and imported and the high res images appeared, and seem to work okay with the hd200, however I only have two dvd's ripped at the moment so not sure what effect this will have as i add more, are all images cached on the hd200?

Let me know when you have 400 DVDs of them loaded and what the performance is. Measuring 2 DVDs doesn't really mean much. Sage loads photos bigger than that. My photos are 2048 x 1536. But you can build those thumbnails for photos so they're cached.

thats what i figured, i wasn't sure whether the sage/hd200 only ever loaded the images shown on screen at any one time into memory or loads all of them at start up or just builds them up as they are shown. How much memory does the hd200 have? anyway as i'm now only on dvd 3, only another 397 to go untill i report the results!

Thanks
