justme -

I have the pvr350 but I'm not using it for playback so the relevant settings are disabled.

I don't sleep or hibernate. i do use the aquarium screen saver from serene screen, which is actually a seperate problem.

Is there a way to use a screen saver without it firing up while your watching a show/movie in Sage. I hate to have to set the screen saver time out to >2hours because then I never see it and I really do like the little star fish.

btw: I couldn't find the faq item in the faq, searching that page for delete, but more importantly, what do you think of the idea to have an alert popup when drive space is getting low?

tia, jb

Does it change the screen resolution?

See this thread: Please disable the windows screen saver while watching. I still haven't retested the monitor power off in the v2 release verison, though.

Maybe one of us should add more about file deletion, etc. The short answer is that it will automatically delete lower priority recordings to make room for new ones. What is 'lower ranked'? Things like LiveTV, Intelligent recordings, & watched shows. Edit: See this FAQ entry.

Sorry jb33,

I could have sworn there was a section there that addressed this. My bad. However Opus4 has kindly added a really good post now. Oh well, this is how the FAQ grows.

thanks guys. i'm a little worried about the auto order feature as sage IR sure fills up my drive space quickly. Looking forward to a future update which will order and build my TB server, making the really tough descisions about hardware vs. software raid for me.

What's really funny is that I had to stop and try to figure out what in the world you were talking about!
