Where exactly do you make this change? I want to do this on one of my clients, but the clients don't have a properties file. There is a sage.properties.defaults, but putting it in there didn't do anything.

And which STV is the "default"? Is that SageTV3.xml?

Nevermind. I was wanting to do this on a Vista client and didn't realize. the properties file is redirected in Vista. Sorry for the noob question. Cool animations! I'll have to try them with my remote and Girder and see how it affects the response.

I just switched my res/fr to 1080p/24 and the animations aren't nearly as smooth. It works great (if not perfect) @ 1080p/60.

Is there anyway for me to optimize the animations for 24fps?

Anyone running @ 1080p/24 with smooth animations, maybe its just my config? I just updated to the latest version 2 days ago and it happens on the stock STV and SageMC.

Thanks

Mine runs fine at 1920x1080p. Windows XP, Ahtlon X2 5000, ATI2600XT 512MB, 2GB RAM.

Although after the initial wow factor, I relaized that I really don't like the animations...at least the smooth scrolling.

On my office client (where I sit and use the mouse) the smooth scrolling is nice. But in the living room (where I use a remote) I find the selection bar "snapping" to each entry (animations off) provides a more positive feedback with the remote.

1920x1080 @ 60 Hertz the animations looks great! As a matter of fact, the animations in the lastest update seem almost perfect even when video is playing. Its when you slow down the refresh rate (to my projector) to 24 Hertz that the smoooothness degrades.

Not really an issue because, at this point, I'm not sure if I am actually getting better video playback at @ 24 Hz. Just popping the question out there...
