Hey!!! Not Fair thread jackers!

Listen, I started this absolutely, worthless thread, lacking anything that could be construed as information just to see how many people would read it. I can't help it. Kind of like when the cat is just sleeping there, not bothering anyone, yeah, you know it, gotta scare the crap out of it.

Amazingly, it cracked 2,000 reads. Really pretty amazing for a post void of any substance whatsoever. Now you guys have to go and add in some real, sort of like, information. Please, if you're going to do this, just start a new thread. I mean, that's just rude.

Every time I visit Walmart I keep looking at the HP Slimline computers for $488. I say to myself "I can have that HD extender right now!"

I know if I buy the HP Slimline the HD extender will come out the next day.

Ya gotta imagine that now that 6.2 is released, the hd homerun is imminent.

(one can hope)

But I did put together my own hd extender for my media room already. got a powerful sage client box up there that doubles as my gaming box. I have zero regrets with doing that. I'll still want an hd extender, but not as big of a hurry.

Upon opening my email this morning, I see an email from Sage Community "Announcements" update. I thought to myself, is this really it? Did the HD Extender come out?! D'Oh!.. it was just the release of 6.2 (still a good thing )

BTW - Can we come up with an abbreviation for the HD Extender like, HDEX, HDX, or HDache.

I thought it was nicer that saying "Maybe they will demo a HD extender at CES this coming January!?!?!"

Who knows? All speculation on the rabid user base's part.

This does support H.264 playback though...

I have no idea what Sagetv will eventually release.
My guess is based on past threads.
