AverTV Combo G2

As part of a major system update, I've installed this card:
http://www.avermedia-usa.com/avertv/...il.aspx?Id=480

I'm running Windows 7 x64 on an AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ system. I also have a Hauppauge PVR-150, and an HD Homerun connected.

This system is running Sage 7 Beta 7.0.11.232

The Card is detected by sage as: AVerMedia Cx23888 Video Capture.

The board is working well, except for 2 issues:

1. I am experiencing audio sync issues when recording with it. The audio lags the video by almost a full second.
2. I can't add the "Digital Capture" as a separate tuner in SageTV. The board only shows up as having a "Video Capture" option, which can be analog or digital. No idea how to add the second tuner to capture Clear QAM.

I'm thinking I will go and swap this board for an HVR-2250...

... And that's what I did. The HVR-2250 works great, was only $20 more at TigerDirect, and has 2x the tuners. That said, I'm having problem #2 with the HVR also... Maybe it's a Win7x64 or Sage7 issue...

Hauppauge NOVA-HD-S2

Product: SageTV 7.0.13 beta
OS: Windows XP Pro 32

DVB subtitles doesn't work as the card doesn't support it. I asked the question to Hauppage customer support after I couldn't see any DVB subtitle and they confirmed. However they didn't say if the problem is hardware or the drivers simply are not designed for that.

Thought I would update the thread some with 2 tuners not on the list
Hauppauge WinTV USB HD Dual tuner works partially with Sage TV as it detects the tuner as a Dual tuner but for some reason will not see tuner #2 and works only as a single tuner at the moment.

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2255 detected as a dual tuner and works better then the older WinTV-HVR-2250

Both tuners were tested with Over The Air antenna on my 64 Bit Windows 10 Pro machine

Digital Devices Cine S2 / Digital Devices Flex S2

I'm running

Digital Devices Cine S2
with
Digital Devices Flex S2
on
Windows 8.1 (Windows 7 was working also)

It's an DVB-S/DVB-S2 card with unicable (SCR) support.

It's an DVB-S/DVB-S2 card with unicable (SCR) support.
I have installed these cards also together with a CAM module, but getting an error message from SageTV when I select the digital tuner to activate. The message I get is.

There was a Capture Error in playback. Details:
ERROR (-2,0x80070491): There was a problem using a SageTV component. Please re-install the SageTV application.

If I force to go on, the broadcasting of the tuners isn't recognized.

I have been using this configuration with FloppyDTV S2 tuners before and everything was working fine till I switched tuners to Digital Devices Cine S2 + duoflex-s2.

I hoped it should work based on the message above. Any one an idea how to solve this issue?

Hauppauge quadHD, dualHD USB, HD-PVR2, HD PVR 60

It's been awhile since this thread has seen any activity. Time to dust off the cobwebs ...

Sage now has support for the following devices under Windows (x86 and x64). They've been tested with Win7 and probably also work with Vista and Win 10, but I haven't personally tested that.

Hauppauge quadHD:
As of Version 9.1.6.747 (2017-08-10), all 4 tuners are now usable. (Older versions of Sage only reported 2 of the 4 tuners.) Windows Device Manager shows 2 entries for each card:
Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD (Model 1652xx-1 ...)
Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD (Model 1652xx-2 ...)

Sage identifies the tuners as "WinTv 885". Look VERY closely, since all 4 tuners have (confusingly) similar names. See:
https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/sho...9&postcount=41
https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/sho...8&postcount=65

To add to the confusion, note that the HVR-1250 and HVR-1800 also show up as another "WinTv 885" tuner in the list. In a system with multiple 885 tuner cards connected to different RF signal sources (e.g, OTA vs QAM), re-consider the urge to plug in all the new 885 cards at once. Instead, add tuner cards (physically plug in and configure) one at a time. This makes it easier to match up Sage's tuner name(s) with a particular card.

Hauppauge dualHD USB:
As of Version 9.1.7 (2017-09-24), both tuners are now usable. Older versions of Sage only reported a single tuner.

Hauppauge HD-PVR2:
As of Version 9.1.8 (2017-11-13), it's now possible to select among the various audio input sources from within Sage. Previously, a registry edit was needed to select the audio input source.

Hauppauge HD PVR 60:

As of Version 9.1.8 (2017-11-13), this video capture device is supported. For additional audio/video config info, see:

Does the bus card version of the Hauppauge QuadHD Tuner play nice with the HD-PVR configured for Hauppauge IR blaster?
