Never heard of desk hammer.

Mine does come with a 3 year warranty which is kinda long nowadays, and I already picked it up, so oh well.

I don't think I'll EVER have enough hard disk space. My latest project started last night is to copy my DVDs to disk and watch through sage. I'll probably need 3 more 400 gig drives to complete this project.

I hear you. I have four hard drives plus two DVD burners all internal, so I added an 8-slot external tower via USB2.0. All told I have a little over 4 TBs now, across 12 drives.

You can never have too much storage... (before Sage, I got by on under 1TB).
