Closed Caption with HDHomeRun

Has anyone gotten their HDHomeRun to work with closed caption on SageTV? The developer of HDHomeRun told me that the CC is in the mpg stream so it really depends on SageTV, but so far enabling cc in the sage.properties file doesn't work.

What does it take for SageTV to support a tuner for CC?

Ya know, I noticed that I do get CC with the HDHomeRun, but the captions are all messed up. Sometimes they only flash up for a split second, and other times they stay up but are all full of garbage characters. If I can figure out how to take a screenshot in sage, I'll post one up.

Well, I just discovered that if I set the renderer back to Overlay instead of VMR9, the captions go away.

But darn it, I have a big new TV and VMR9 looks better! LOL! Can't seem to win some days.
