Ok, if E: is a network drive then you need to make sure you're running dirmon2 logged in as a user with network privileges.

Ok, that's an easy one, its just waiting for comskip to make a .edl file. If you generate one of those, or disable waiting for .edl files in perl2dvd.advanced.pref, it should work.

The funny thing is -- this all worked at one time. I recently had some issues with double entries in wiz.bin and decided to start over for the new year. So I deleted wiz.bin made some organizational changes and upgraded to 6.018 from scratch. I reinstalled everything. Well -- not Dirmon and ImgBurn. But I installed Sage 6.018 and SageMC6.3.1 and your Videotools (in that order) from scratch. I re-ran perl2dvdsetup. It all seemed to be ok. But the dragNdrop bat file is not working and it can't seem to locate any mpgs anywhere. The differences in the set up are 1) the folder the recordings are in, 2) Sage 6.018 and 3) SageMC 6.3.1. Edit 8:30PM: I dropped a file on the "single_video_dvd_dragNdrop.bat" and it worked. It located the source file alright. The "compress_2_xvid_dragNdrop.bat" just sits there. It opens the .bat file in notepad also. Is that expected behaviour? Anyone have any suggestions? Last edited by belleboyd; 01-02-2007 at 10:08 PM. |

As for sage 6.3.1, I need to update my STVi a little bit and that might fix your problem. I hope to get it out tomorrow.

EP,
If you want to use a very good version of Mencoder the one that comes with mediacoder is constantly being optimized. It is also good for creating batchfiles etc... http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/index.htm

I got the plugin up and running and is burning DVD's. Unfortunately the audio and video are pretty badly out of sync. It gets worse and worse as time goes on through the video.
Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this? |
