Update: Problem Fixed
Sir, I changed the line in the "sage.properties" file as described below. After a reboot and re-start, that change did NOT fix the described problem, but rather added a new one where the playback was just all black (didn't appear to be noise, just solid black). So.... I un-installed Sage via the control panel. and re-installed. No luck, same thing. .....But then I realized that the sage.properties file was likely still left over from the un-install. I then un-installed again and went in the Sage directory and did some "house cleaning" and deleted all but the key files and the directories. I installed Sage6 again, and viola, channel changing now works.....THIS PROBLEM is now fixed!!!! Just as a side note, when I first installed Sage6, I installed it ONTOP of Sage5.04. Maybe this was not a good idea...... Hope this can be of some value to you. Regards, P.S. I have another bug report on using a wireless MVP. Any breakthroughs on that front? ----- Original Message ----- From: "SageTV BetaTest" <betatest@sagetv.com> To: "'Steve Marty'" <smarty@satx.rr.com> Sent: Monday, October 09, 2006 12:01 PM Subject: RE: Bug Submit > Set this property: > > seeker/fast_mux_switch=false > > and it should resolve the issue.
