Mike, I like the idea of the new timebar indicator, but the transparancy doesn't seem quite right. It gets in the way of seeing commercial breaks, at least, IMO. I don't know if it could be made more transparent, or maybe slightly wider, or maybe a diamond shape. Not really sure.

I'm also not sure I like the OSD background color I chose. I'm going to see if I can find something else. It looks good on the options menu, but on the OSD, not so good. I might try orange, to match the selection bars or something.

Hi Guys,

Here are a couple of updated graphics to check out. If they seem to work, I'll add them to the Liquid Theme and Alternate Graphics downloads.

Ok, I reduced the reflection as much as I could while still keeping the glass window effect. I also widened the progress indicator by another 10%. Hopefully that will do the trick. It looks good on my system. Let me know what you think.

Looks a little better. I tried somthing else. I used the old Blue two tv guide backgrounds and it looked better but I think my problem is not the transparency but the 'Gloss' on the top side of the bar. its seems it bleeds into the text a little bit. My text size is 22 and it gets the top edit. I prefer NON glossy bars just for my guide is that possible?

I'm a cad/cam guy not photoshop guy..

Thanks

And here's something for you....

There is a complete set of guide bars with the gloss removed. I also included a non-glossy selection bar for each of the available colors in subfolders. Just pick the file you want and dump it into your images folder along with the rest of the guide bars. Please let me know if this works for you.

Lastly, I added one more goodie that I think will come in handy very soon.

Aloha,
Mike

Ah, ok. Sorry, I guess I should have my coffee first before visiting the forums. That went right past me. More information will be forthcoming soon. I just thought I'd chum the waters a bit.

Aloha,
Mike

Good job on this theme, Mike. I really like it. It will be interesting to see what this calendar thing is all about...

I never realized that the gloss was the problem, but the guide look so much better this way. I can't think of a way to make this theme any better.

Wait a minute, there is one thing. Can it make the Cubs win the World Series???? Then it would be perfect.

Thank you very much!

FYI, I added the new graphics from a few posts back to the downloads last night.

I think the Cubs' World Series win is secure. All I have to do is root for the other team in every game....except that I don't watch basketball.

Aloha,
Mike

Since you've already started going off topic...

That's easy to explain: it is pretty similar to the game of basketball that you mentioned above, except that you try to carry the ball across a line 100 yards away. While doing this, the other team throws balls at you. If you get hit, you have to sit out until you can grab one of the thrown balls. If it looks like you can't make it all the way down the field, you have a chance to call a time out and kick the ball for an attempt at a hole in one. Getting a hole in one is fairly rare, so sometimes you win a new car that you get to drive around the stadium 250 times, going as fast as you can.
