Am I missing something, or does the date of release not get updated when the builds of SageMC get released/put up on the Community download site?

(Just did an overwrite/import of 6.11a and it seems I can get episode info, either normally or by using a manual search...which before didnt work...weird)

The date is from when the first file was originally uploaded and is static.

Well, a few releases back I added the ability to select more than the one channel the show is actually airing on for the channel criteria. This issue has to be specific to HD-channels, since I tested and used it successfully myself. I see the problem with the show you mentioned, and I'll look at it soon.

What about TV show episodes from the 'Program Info' screen, do they work ?

When I installed I Shut down sage unzipped the 6.11 into the proper directory. Loaded sage selected 6.11. Then restarted Sage and INFO screen says 6.11.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I had the same issue and 6.11a does seem to have fixed it. Now maybe conflict management will get an overhaul at some point.

Last thing to try would be to enable debug logging (as described here), and I'll have a look ...

No, if it is empty it defaults to "...\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMC\Images\IMDBCache"

Could this be a file permissions problem ? Can you try to manually create the directory ?

Edit: try to remove the line "sagemc/imdb_cache_dir=" from the properties file (after you shut down Sage). This should fix the problem.

No, it is nothing you did. The file selector dialog in the SageMC options used to return an empty string (instead of null), and the path property got (incorrectly) set to "" at some point. The dialog has been fixed, and the caching code expected the dir entry either to be missing or to be valid. So an old property value was the culprit (but I just updated the download so that even this will not break the functionality any more).

Seemed like it worked as you said a couple versions ago, I could have sworn. I know it did, because I've setup about 3 new shows over the last 2-3 weeks this way, and it worked fine, and I remember seeing all the other channels, with the "!" beside them, then geting to the channel it was on, and leaving it there...

It's skipping both channels that it's on, 11 and 19...

I think I have 6.10, so I'm going to try that one out.

Okay, Dirk. This is weird.

6.10 (not "a").

When I push the "+", I first see channels 11, then 19, then starts back at 2 with an "!" next to it, with each "+" press.

6.11a.

When I push the "+", I see channel 2 with a "!" next to it, and never see 11 or 19. (Even using the "-" button, and going backwards, I never find the "actual" channels that the show comes on.

Good luck with that one!

BTW, this fixed my TV coverart problem too, I just had not checked it out after upgrading yet...

However, anyone else notice that the Encoder icons are MUCH smaller than the rest on the Program Info page? Mine show up about 1/4th the size of the rest of the icons.

I just checked mine, after removing the same line you did the TV show icons started to show up again. Also, I think you need to re-install your show icons, mine are ok here.

Nevermind, thats not the issue. The problem is the length of your channel number/name. I took my display and shrunk the right edge in until the channel info and 2 icons started to hit the show icon, and the encoder icon started to shrink. The obvious fix is to remove the city info for the channel from showing, if thats possible.

This is going to sound VERY dumb, and I apologize in advance. But to get any new "fixes" in the code, we just re-download this and just reinstall right over everything that's already there?

Thanks,
