HOW DO YOU POST PICTURES? When I click add a picture in the editor here, it asks for a URL?

Yeah, unfortunately you have to have inline pics hosted somewhere else...

They have to be linked from another site. It can be from the downloads section of the forum however.

Every time I upgrade to a new SageMC I have to go in and rename the menus from "My <blank>" to "<blank>", and set up all of the things I've customized again. Is there a way to avoid this?

I don't have to do this. Once you have set everything up, do you go in and save the menu file?

I do save the menu file.

However, and maybe this is not necessary, I usually go in and select the new SageMC_16x9.xml STV to make sure I'm running the new STV.

When you upgade SageMC with a full package.. it will replace your sagemc_menu.xml. You need to back that file up before doing this update.

Question 2: My screensaver is not working anymore (I usually just used the Sage Logo one). It used to work fine on all my extenders (5), but since the upgrade it doesn't work on any (MVP or HD). Everything looks to be configured right on the server and the extenders. Any ideas how to get this working again? I've been watching, I haven't seen anyone else with this issue so I assume it works... just not for me

running 6.3.6. and I cant figure out how to get online videos to show up. any howto on getting them to show up like in the default interface.

I had the same issue with the release of 6.3.6. I fixed it by choosing a different number of items in the row, then scaled it, then changed it back, and it allowed me to keep scaling it. I haven't tried 6.3.6b yet.

I installed SageMC 6.35, which is really cool. However for the life of me, I cannot find the Hardware setup page. In previous versions, it would be on the settings page. I have searched high and low and I cannot find it. Where she be?

Second question, on my picture page, I can do a slideshow and everything runs fine. But, I cannot see any thumbnails, although I have run the thumbnail command several times. Since, I cannot see any thumbnails, I can't choose individual pictures I can only run slideshow.

Any help, would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah it disappeared (I believe by mistake). For now you can get to it by going to detailed setup and then use that to go to the setup menu.

My eyes are bleeding from checking each option carefully, over and over.

I cannot find it (I even tried setting up an internal menu and I can't find it there either)

Go to Settings >> Detailed Setup

All of the hardware setup was removed from SageMC and Detailed Setup was linked to a slightly modified version of the default STV. This way changes in hardware setup and basic options implemented in the default STV can be implemented much more quickly and easily in SageMC. HTH

I wonder when it will be possible to have the rest of SageMC's submenus, plugins, menus be icon based and configured the same way, currently the main menu can look so different, it almost looks like a completely different program ..which is why I kept mine looking consistent.

Hey Mike / Dirk - Any idea if this limitation can be lifted? I'd like to set up like this :

and scroll vertically - however the table is scrolling vertically already, so it's not wrapping.

This is a limitation in the core of SageTV. I am working on figuring out a work-around, but it isn't easy.

I see: General, Multimedia, Commands, Server, Advanced, Customize, Setup Menu, and Back to SageMC.

I have checked each one and I don't see it. I can't be that daft, can I?

Click on the setup menu. From there you should be able to setup the tuners.
