Thanks Stéphane. That did the trick. All it wanted was a properties file to look at.

I posted in the UK thread a few days ago about a problem I'm having with missing film data and I'm still stuck as to what the problem could be so I thought I'd try here as well.
For some reason I'm missing the year data for every film. I always did have this data up until a week ago but I havent changed anything for it to stop working. I have since updated to the latest version of the importer and I'm still having the same issue. I'm running Windows Server 2003 with the latest beta of Sage, fully updated Java & stvxmltv version 3.0 with DG2XML guide data. Original post - I dont know what I've done but when I look at my movies (TV Guide) I dont have any year info. The films all display the name of the film and then () and thats it. So all films on TV look like "Timberjack ()" Anyone got any ideas on how to get back the info which should be in-between the (). I've attached a screen shot which may explain it a bit better. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Cheers

Hi Stephane
I've been using your importer for a couple of weeks now and want to upgrade to the automatic updating version. My question is i run sage on a headless WHS so no one is logged in most of the time. Will the importer still run automatically. UK guys does digiguide need to have a user logged in to run also as i'm using this as my XMLTV source Thanks James |

Added the user Admin & password to the scheduled task, just have to wait until 5.00am tomorrow to see it works ok. I have faith it will as it always worked before. Very nice importer and well worth a donation IMO. Cheers Ben

Hi Stéphane,
I just installed the latest version (was previously using 2.8) and noticed that it doesn't seem to support the "/silent" command-line option anymore. Has this been removed or has the syntax changed? I run the importer from a scheduled batch file. Thanks. |

Just installed 3.0 and it crashes on start-up with an exception error. Any help?

My mistake, and a stupid one: I gave the wrong Sage directory.
It works now, although my second line-up got lost in the upgrade process. Interface looks much nicer and is much easier to work. Thanks! |

Stephane, the update to v. 3 has correctly unified the cloned channels in the new single lineup, but all the time offsets now show as "0"!! Fortunately, the channels are, nevertheless, still being imported with the original time offsets...

I spoke too soon. I am positive the offsets were correct for several days (updates) but now they are truly "0". I lost them. Well, I will enter them manually copying them from the old clone_channels.xml, not a big deal, but perhaps you can tell me how to avoid this happening again? Thanks!

What are the values you are using for time offset? Do the time offsets get saved now when you edit your lineup, save it, and open it again? Regards, Stéphane. |

What are the values you are using for time offset?
Several: 1, -1, 2, -2 and even 0.5 Do the time offsets get saved now when you edit your lineup, save it, and open it again? Yes, they do. I did not check them before because the upgrade went smoothly and I have to assume the offsets were correctly imported, because everything worked fine. I am trying to remember what I was doing that may have cleared all of them. I fooled with the Add new Channel button (the one on the left) and added 3 blank new channels, then deleted them. Then I used the right button and added the new channel from one of the XMLTV files. Only then did I notice the Offset column, but it must have been at some point then that the offsets were cleared, because that same morning the channels were imported correctly. By the way, excellent work on this new version, thank you! |
