MP4 and Placeshifter

Well I bought a placeshifter liscense to watch some World Cup games at work. Works fine... except for mp4 playback (and DVD).

I followed my own advice and installed ffdshow and Matroska on the client machine, but no dice D: . I dont get it, the first poster on this thread said he had mp4 playback working easily. Did i even need to do that, I though all transcoding was done on the server?

Is there anything I might have forgotten?

PS Actualy before anyone puts thought into a reply, I need to make sure MP4 playback still works on the server, I did a complete reinstall yesterday and dont remember if I tested mp4 playback.
