okpied the files to the correct place, the I rebooted the system just to make sure...
When it came up, LM RKM whas in the task bar, so started SageTV (i had deleted the source and recreated it prior to rebooting), and now thw guide still wont change the channel. When testing the keys within the edit ir device screen, the channel changing works fine, but not in SageTV 's guide. How come it's not working? I did select the LM pluggin in the source. |

debug_logging=TRUE to the Sage.properties (c:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV or C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SageTV) file (while SageTV is completely shut down). Then restart SageTV and try to tune a channel. After the crash review the sagetv_0.txt (in same folders as above) to see what is the last thing SageTV tried to do before crashing. You may also have to install the Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redist Package (as the error involve msvcrt.dll and it is the MS Visual C Runtime) Regards, Stéphane. |

i am running the latest trial version 6.3.10..
I've been watching / using sageTV for about 45 minutes now and nothing has happened so far... I will continue testing... P.S>: You should see a donation from me sometime tomorow.. ! Thanks for all the help Steph ! your the best ! Now, I intend to use my harmony remote to simulate the MCE remote. Will it still use the IR device profile for my Illico? Will I be able to have a button on the harmony to activate the mouse mode function? |

* The IR device profiles are only for the blaster * The remote profiles are only for the remote You could be using a Firefly and MCE Blaster, or a Streamzap and USB-UIRT, it would be the same thing. Quote:

This how to edit a remote profile : http://www.lmgestion.net/@en-us/4/22/60/78/article.asp, as well as a description of all available actions. However, if Media Center is availabe and active, you'll have to disable ehtray.exe from running as it will launch Media Center if you press on some buttons of the MCE Remote. Regards, Stéphane. |

also, let me know how to setup the mouse mode. I did change the red button to mouse mode, but since I can't install the donator version, maybe it's not working because of that, or do I have to copy files from LM to sage for the mouse mode to work...?

Uninstall the current version (no settings will be lost, if you answer "No" to the question "Do you want to remove all your settings?") before installing the new one.

ok, I got this worked out, but LM RKM will still not install without giving the error....
Do I have to un-install then re-install the Donator version? |

You have two options : * either create a keyboard shortcut. Go into SageTV detailed settings, and in commands, choose to associate a keyboard shortcut to a SageTV command, you'll see a list of all SageTV commands. In this list you'll for example find "Picture Library", select it and type something on your keyboard (a unused key) and from now on it will be bounded to this command. Then on LM RKM, edit the SageTV remote profile and for a button (for instance Red), use a Keystroke or a PressKey action to send the keyboard shortcut you choose * Or you can use Windows Message. In page 195 of the SageTV manual, you'll find all the commands. For instance the "Picture Library" is command n°87. In LM RKM in the SageTV profile, edit a button (for instance Red) and add: - a FindWindow action, in the Windows Title field type "SageWin" (without the quotes) and leave the Window Class blank. - a SendMessage action (this action must be added after FindWindow) and type 1258 for Message, 0 for wParam and 87 for lParam. Regards, Stéphane. |
