Does this plugin remember last played position when switching from the imported media to a TV channel (without having to manually press the stop button)? I use the "previous channel" button feature which switched from imported media playback to the last TV channel I viewed.
Also, what are the possibilities to have this plugin to also remember last played DVD position? Thanks so much for all your effort!

Install on Server went without a hitch.
I installed SageMC on two of my clients so far and imported this as well... I can't get it to work. Creates the properties file but does not populate it. Is there a way to get the client to use the file on the server? Can this be used on a Client?

it should work on the client, I use it myself on client and server. You imported v0.3, right ? Currently all clients use their own properties file, but it would probably be possible to add a setting for a fixed property file location Dirk |

Yes I used .3
I think a fixed file would be best. Like I said, it did create the prop file it just didn't populate it. As for the SageMC navigation. I will PM you after I play around with it.

Actually, I wasn't asking for specific support for "previous channel", but something more useful than just detecting when STOP is pressed by the sageTV user.
More accurately, I think it would be better to look for when SageTV integrated media player is stopped (not necessarily when STOP is pressed by the user). For example in typicial scenerios... when switching to liveTV while Imported Videos are being played with the remote control, or when switching to playing a DVD while Imported Videos are being played... Thanks! -Michael Quote:

I've imported the STVi, but I don't see the VideoLibraryTimes.properties file in the sage directory. I've left the jars in the stv3 directory with the stvi file and I've moved them to the JARs directory.
Any ideas? |

I just uploaded v0.4 here
Changes: - fixed tracking of times in GermSage - added property "plugins/df/videolib_times/property_dir" You can point the property to a directory on your server to share the VideoLibraryTimes.properties file among your clients. If the property is not set, it will create/use the file in the current SageTV directory as before. Examples: plugins/df/videolib_times/property_dir=d\:\\SageTV\\SageTV plugins/df/videolib_times/property_dir=\\\\mediapc\\SageTV\\SageTV Dirk |

This plug in doesn't work for me at all for some reason. Oh well, I figure this STV does 9 out of 10 things right; I'll let this 1 feature slide by.
