Just thought of something. Have you tried longer delays in the properties file? Could this allow sage a little more time to stabilize when the file hits 2G

I had one place where the file size was saved in a 32 bit signed integer and I have changed that so that it should work. But I might have missed some more place and I can not test this since I don't have the hardware (or HD).

(Edit: I put the link to the source in the first attempt.)

Anders
Thanks for the updated SGR, am testing it now, hopefully with good results later on (have to wait for the 2GB limit to come around..

Well I think its working... I can only test on my laptop, which isnt up to streaming HD that well. My trial on my other PC ended, so am awaiting the key I just purchased before I can test it on a machine that is capable of HD playback.

Wow! I think Anders was uploading as I was typing my recent messages.

I have installed and have passed the 2G limit with no problem. Sample size of 1, but looks promissing.

To bad CBS doesn't have basketball in HD this morning.

Thanks Anders!

What game is on there? Only game I know of being played right now is the Bradley/Pitt game, and its in HD on my local CBS (south bend, indiana) as well as in HD on the NYC HD feed on DishNetwork. Maybe your local CBS needs to flip the switch?

Anders you are the man! I owe you a beer or two.

I attempted the server/client setup last year and ran into the same stuttering problem but couldn't eliminate my hardware as the problem.
Well, upgraded my hardware had the same issue, came across this thread and know I am golden.
I am still getting about 20 "GET_FILE_SIZE" msgs a second but doesn't seem to effect playback.
Thanks again!
-Cable
