Hello John,

Well, it appears to be working. I got no preview when setting the tuner up-it just timed out to the screensaver. It never showed the channels in channel setup, just said that they had been downloaded. But it does work. Of the 8 Atlanta digital channels I get 100% from 5 of them and 0% with three of them (Fox, WB, and PBS). This is according to the Vbox signal strength tool. I will have to get the antenna pointed for Fox (I think Fox has 24, which is a must for WAF) and PBS would be nice. The WB I can live without.

I am pleasantly surprised that my attic antenna with no fine tuning managed 5 of 8 channels. If I can just get Fox I will be golden!

Tried setting up a few HD shows to record, but sage would not let me select the HD channels only. Guess I need to do more research on this.

Let us know how the new .dll's work out.

Jesse

New update!!!

I have tested the update with the latest beta and my ABC Tuning issue appears to be resolved. I will see how a bunch of my test recordings go over the next 2 days. They are also looking into a play back issue related to HD Files...but it is looking good.

Hi John,

That is great news.

So you are running the latest beta and some new dll's from support?

Well, the beta part will be easy, but how do I go about getting those new dll files?

Thanks, and please keep us informed of your progress.

Hey John-Have you had this problem???

Hello John,

I have got one of my two VBox HD tuners set up. Live tv is good (WOW, actually ), and I can record no problem. The problem is that sage deletes everything I record with the VBox HD tuner. All the stuff I record with the pvr500 is left alone (as usual). Last night I recorded two shows, made sure they were there and watched a little of each before bed. This morning both are gone. Both were set to keep until I erase.....

Wondering if you have seen this yourself.

BTW, I am still using 4.1.3.67. I know you are using a beta. Which one? Any problems at all? How are the new .dll's working?

Thanks in advance.

Jesse

Sorry I didn't get back sooner.

So far I have not had SageTV delete any of the HD Shows. Since I record everything twice all my HD Recordings are manual recordings with a few exceptios and none of them have been deleted.

I am running the latest beta and so far it has been very stable.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply.

It is killing all my HD recordings, both favorites and manuals.

Maybe time to try the beta.

Thanks again,

Jesse
