Well. I got the graph finally, but the picture kept freezing up making adjusting impossible. Then I realized something else.....I had no idea what I was adjusting, and how to adjust it, LOL.

I gather it's brightness and contrast (?), but I'm not sure what I'm trying to do with the graph.

If you get a minute stranger89 perhaps you could walk me through it.

Basically brightness will shift the whole curve left and right, and right, and contrast will make the curve wider or narrower.

What you'll want to do, is to adjust the brightness so that the curve is roughly centered, and then adjust the contrast to make it fill the white part from end to end.

OK. I'll play with it (see below). Thanks for the guidance.

What about the freezing I mentioned? Due to it, I can't adjust anything. It seems to freeze because it's in software mode. in other words, if I switch back to another decoder, while in software mode, it still freezes.
