That might be hard to test if you can't test with more than one card at a time outside of SageTV. Especially, if recording concurrently with an analog source (ie 2 Avermedias + 1 Hauppauge).

If I had to guess, it's possible buffering "NumBuffers=64" isn't universally optimal for PC's with multiple/unlike tuners & capture cards (ie 2 Fusion cards + 1 Hauppauge card)?? Maybe too much resources is used uncessarily and needs to be better optimized.

Made an observation with the recording glitches with my A180 today. I discovered that if I drag a window (task manager) around on the desktop very quickly so that the desktop icons are being redrawn over and over that I will get glitches in my A180 recordings. This doesn't happen with analog recordings from my Hauppuage cards, only the A180. So as an experiment I turned off service mode and restarted sage and running in the system tray. Then I set the SageTV.exe process priority to "high" in task manager. Now I don't get the glitches when I drag the window around. I don't know if this is the cause of the glitches I've been seeing in my normal usage but I'm thinking it's worth a try. So I'm going to run with high priority for awhile and see what happens. Just thought I'd pass along this info. I'll post back after I watch some TV.
