Can anyone help me out? I apologize if this question has been asked before.

Make sure you Call Names/channel #'s in MT match the ones in SageTV they won't show up if they don't match.

Where does your lineup come from? XMLTV or Sage?
You have any other Sage imports?

I assume my line up comes from Sage as I didn't install XMLTV and I do not have any other imports.

I found some of the missing channels. They are "missing" because some other channels have the same call names.

I the questions I should be asking is...How does Sage convert the my MyTheatre channel list into its internal channel line up? Once I understand that I should be able to tweak the list to make it what I want.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Cheers

Either:
Go into your lineup/Channel Setup for your lineup in Sage, and make the physical channel number match the one in MyTheatre
Or:
Change your MyTheatre channel numbers in your SageTV MyTheatre favourite match the physical channel numbers in SageTV.

I think what I'll do is figure out which channels are duplicate and remove the unwanted ones from my SageTV favorites list in MyTheatre.

Does Sage automatically update the channel list or do I have to do something to force it?

I don't think there is a link between your SageTV favorites in MyTheatre and what SageTV displays. When I set up mine I had to add a few channels manually as they were not included in the listing that Sage provided.

That makes sense. I'll try to add the few missing channels that I care about manually.

Thanks

Question DVB-S2 with H.264

we have HD channels, that broadcasted by DVB-S2 with H.264

I have DVB-S2 card, but looks like MT does not support it.

There any way to transport them into SageTV?

Not right now. There is a DVB Dream Plugin that works with MT but the H.264 recordings don't play in Sage. Relocation is working on something but who knows when its will be ready.

Yup, its either that or wait for the next version of mytheatre which is supposed to support h.264 streams... but that was supposed to be released this past summer, and from the way the developer of MT works, I wouldn't be surprised if it never comes out.

Network Encoder Issues

I followed the PDF directions in setting up the network encoder for MT and Sage.. but Ive had one problem I have not been able to figure out .. so nothing is working correctly... I setup the plugin in MT.. it appears in plugins and everything.. but NOTHING is showing up except signal quality in the MyTheatre section of the GUI status tab. ChID: 0 ChNo: 0 SID: 0 Signal Quality 82% Program Name: <blank> anyone have a solution for this problem? I have even setup the SageTV part.. and it shows my Favorite channels part.. but says no signal on the channels.. any help would be greatly appreciated...

I am using Vista Home, MT 3.38 SageTV's latest version off their website.. TwinHan/VP 1020a Dish 1000 Dish with 3LNB DishPro Plus ... MyTheatre works great... no issues with that.. jsut the network encoder thing...

I still can't seem to get around my "Access Violation: Write Error blah blah blah" when I watch HD streams (in particular sports). It must be associated with CPU intensive decoding or something..

But I'm amazed that I seem to be the only one that's reporting this issue.

I'm running XP, with an AMD 5000+ X2, and 2 gigs of ram. So, the system isn't exactly under-equipped.

Anyone else experienced MT crashing while using the plugin?

d.

No crashing here. I watch HD daily. Are you using registered MT?

Technazz.

Yah, fully registered MT, and fully registered Sage. Both fully legit.

It's really starting to drive me nuts.. so much so that I've started looking around for alternative solutions despite the fact that I just recently paid the $120 for both programs.

Your system is beefier than mine. I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it.

Na, the system I replaced was a AMD Xp3000 and I didnt have any issues. Does this happen when you view just in MT?

What is your DVB Card?

subtitles

Hi,
When looking at National geographic at Thor 0.8W the subtitling is not transferred from mytheatre to stv. Is there any setting that needs to be adjusted to have the subtitles also in stv?

HD Extender Support

Can anyone tell me if this plugin will work with the SageTV HD Extender? I have everything working at home with a demo Sage license and before I purchase an HDX I want to make sure it will work.
