Hmm. I'm not sure it supports the shared Vol+/Right and Vol-/Left commands. I'll take a look, but I'm not sure there's an easy way around that. I'll have to take a look at how the default STV handles it and see if it's compatible with what is going on in this one.

Look at the combo command listeners -- if a combo command is sent, it will look for that listener before using the individual listeners.

Barring that, is there an easy way for me to disable the scrolling guide, leave it static down there, and just use the volume part of it?

Not right now, but I'm trying to find time to fix a bunch of outstanding bugs, if I can't make it work properly, I'll at least add a work around to disable to mini-guide.

Unfortunately I can't promise a timeline though...sorry.

That's cool, I've reverted to the default one for now.

still here...

I know I've fallen off the face of the earth on this - but I wanted to let any one who might actually still be using this know that I'm aware a lot of stuff is broken in this STV with the latest Sage betas.

I'm going to dust it off because my wife doesn't like any of the other solutions and hope to get a new version out sometime before May 1st.

I know I've said this a few times before, but at the very least I'll be fixing the Recordings Page that is unusable now. Beyond that, I am getting a new camcorder, so I have to fix the library and the choppy mp4 playback, along with the screensaver.

So...yeah. I'm still here, and I wanted to let people know that.

Hey Vince, great to see you're back!

I'll certainly be looking forward to any fixes to get this up and going again! With all the advances with fanart, etc. there are plenty of opportunities to really take this forward. I'd like to talk with you about implementing some of that into the home screen (to help me learn Studio), and maybe other tweaks.

Do you plan on just doing a bug fix on this, or do you really want do a full blown release?

Regardless, it's good to have Crashless is back!

Thanks! It's nice to be messing around again.

It'll probably qualify as a full release. I had actually had some fun with animations a while back but never made a release because I was distracted before I made it completely 'release-ready'. It'll be in whatever I end up sending out, so there ya go.

I'll also be working on the imports section and I'm listening to a lot of music lately, so that obviously needs work. I'd love some help getting those kind of extra features in (fan art etc) so PM me your email and we can sync up.

All that said, I'll probably rush out a bug-fix release ASAP. 1-2 weeks at most hopefully.

Thanks for checking in on me!

It really has been amazing to me how little free time I actually have these days (I now have a 6 month old daughter). I have a TON of ideas for this STV but no actual time to execute them.

There probably won't be an 'official' release for a couple of months, but if you are feeling adventurous - PM me your email and I will send you a copy of my work so far. Lots of bug fixes and a couple of new features, nothing stable enough to release - but usable enough to where it's still my everyday interface for SageTV.

So sorry about this - but I really am still interested in pursuing this STV - I just wish I had more time, or someone I could partner up with to continue moving this forward. It really has been left in the dust in many new features.

Heh - I have a 7-month old. I'm lucky I finally even got a chance to update to the latest release (it took me several months).
