I'm seeing crashes with the pop up window using 7.2 as well. I tried it on two different machines with the same HD clip. I can upload part of it, if you need more samples.

For those of you experiencing 0fps, try disabling the "Pause while Sage is playing/recording".

For those of you experiencing hard crashes on files that have AC3 audio, I am aware of the bug and am working on it.

I just uploaded a CSI that will crash, not sure if it is the AC3 bug you are talking about, but it will crash the program. Chad

0.7.3 - 29 May 2006
- Added version number to the status window and the logs.
- Fixed infinte processing of large files.
- Fixed "Pause while SageTV is playing/recording" setting.
- Fixed one cause of crashing during AC3 decoding.
- Fixed negative file sizes in log files. (Again...)
- Added workaround in TS demuxer when the stream gets all crazy.
- I'm pretty sure live detection will work in DVR-MS files now.
- Fixed crash in SAConfig when a decimal was used in the end padding.

Enjoy,
Jere

Can you look at that CSI "CSINY-WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouSee-76638-0" I sent you....it is still crashing with the new version. It will crash about 1 seconds after it starts to scan.

Thanks, Chad

I have several do not process setting in SA, based on the channel name it gets from nielm's webserver.

These seem to be getting ignored recently. Could this be a bug?

It processes fine for me.

Take a look at the file version number of ShowAnalyzer.exe and ShowAnalyzer.dll and make sure they match (i.e. right click, properties, version). If they don't, then uninstall it, make sure the SA directory is gone or empty and reinstall and reregister.

I've heard of a couple of instances where upgrading while DirMon is running wouldn't replace the dll and since the dll and the exe have to match, mysterious crashes would start.

What version of the webserver are you running?

Does the connection test (in SAConfig) succeed?

Is the channel being read correctly by SA? (Save the log to disk with a verbosity of 1, and it should be one of the first lines in the log file)

Well they all match, but the last 3 numbers and I think that is ok. Not sure why just that one show crashes SA. I was able to let it run all last night and have scanned about 12 shows without any problem. It still has another 15 or so to go. Looking great so far! Chad

0.7.4 - 30 May 2006
- Closing with the edge profile displayed won't crash anymore.
- Fixed problem in determining the audio type. (This will correct some of the crashes when processing SD files)

Enjoy,
Jere

When testing the webserver connection, the GUI will always report "Connection failed", but the log says "Connection successful". I think this has been happening from 0.7.0-0.7.4. I am running v2.8 of the webserver.

The web server is working for me and I have ver 2.8. It was not working before, but the last 2 versions seem to work now for me.

The GUI checks for valid information, not just a connection (as is being reported in the log). I would recommend you look at and verify your settings. A common point of confusion is the server name. That is only the computer name or ip address. No http or /sage/Home. Just the computer name. If that doesn't work, can you post your settings and I'll see if anything unusual pops out at me.

If you're running on the same machine that runs Sage and the webserver just using localhost works.

I've tried localhost, the internal IP, my dyndns address... All of them fail. And I know that these are the same settings that were carried over from previous versions that worked... Anyway, this feature isn't required for me, and this version seems to be processing better than in the past, and it's time for bed!

SA is detecting my wife's shows on FoodTV and the Travel Channel, but it is not doing so well with my shows. (and yes I do watch Everyday Italian, and so should you.)

For South Park (Comedy Central) and SG1 (SciFi), it consistently starts a skip before the actual commercial but then ends the skip 15 to 30 seconds before the show returns.

Does any else see these problems or have a solution?

For some reason it very rarely detect "My wife and kids" correctly. Many times it is blank or has only the ends of the show detected.

No commercial Detection on show

There is a show I record for my kids.. "The suite life of Zack and Cody" that for some reason SA NEVER detects a thing on! I get an empty .txt file on every show! SA works on every other show I record, but I just get a totally blank .txt file on this particular show!!

Any ideas why that would be? I don't even get a "File Processing Completed".. just a blank text file..

The show is hardly worth the cpu cycles that I put into SA, but still.. odd...
