Interesting, those are the ones I had just switched to, and I couldn't get the IR to work. I had to use the latest 32/64 bit drivers on that forum to get the IR to work. Now I installed 2.0.30.23074.PreRelease overtop of that CDs base driver and so far things are looking good.
Off topic, with the drivers on that CD, do you experience the overbright white? |

Isn't the IR a seperate install in the driver package?
Have not had the overbright white on any server, client or MVP. Are you talking about and certains channels and scences it makes that god awful sound and the white edges are like lightning? I had seen it before but I'm not sure it was a specific driver package. I thought it was my cable company because it didn't happen all the time or on all the channels. Gerry

Yes the IR program is a separate install, but it will not function properly with some of the drivers.
The "overexposed" whites are explained in great detail on the shspvr forums http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=8303.0 and http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=9516.0 count yourself lucky if you never experienced this. Trying to fix that is what got me into this mess. |

OK-counting myself lucky. From looking at the screenshots I don't have that issue. I don't use the IR (2 x PVR500). I'm using a USB-UIRT on the server and MCE Remotes on the clients with a Harmony 520 on the MVP.

I might need to switch to a different remote myself. The IR program is such a pain to get working, but once it does it is really nice.
Anyhow back on topic. It seems all my issues have been fixed with my driver updates, at least for now. |

Good to hear. What version did you end up with?

As I figured I spoke too soon. I resumed from a standby earlier and Sage froze on me. I had to restart to get it working again. Seems random though, I did a test where I forced it into standby waited 5 minutes then resumed and everything was fine, so I need to look deeper into this one. But, knock on wood, recordings are working fine now. I am using an older driver 2.0.30.23074.PreRelease.
