Wireless SageTV
I just purchased a Linksys WRT54GX router and put the Sage box (P3 866) on wireless. My workstation is directly connected to the router and have no stuttering streaming to the Sage client on my workstation. While the Sage box is only approx 40 ft away, there are two walls, a staircase, and the entertainment center the radio waves must pass through to communicate. Signal strength is excellent.

Yeah, I stumbled across the same solution, but it's not %100 - at least the MVP doesn't completely go to lunch and have to be reset to get its network connection back now - there seems to be a flaw in the MVP's networking logic that once it's interrupted you have to cycle the power to bring it back.
I still don't know why it's dropping off the wirless connection in the first place, though - you can watch the game adapter's Wireless light blinking wildly and then it goes dark completely for about 10 seconds (long enough for the MVP buffer to run out) and then it flips back on. Does this fairly regularly. Annoying - Guess I'll look at having to get a big drill bit out and start running some cables - it appears wireless has not quite arrived yet...

Just for the record, thought I'd let folks know I did get the wireless stuff working dandy with the MVP 1000 (pretty sure everyone was on pins and needles over this issue).
Using a D-Link G wireless router and the little D-Link G game bridge, I got this to fly perfectly. I ended up plugging the MVP and the game bridge into a little 10/100 4 port hub (this seems to make the MVP happier - it's twitchy about it's connection). Turned on WEP, turned off SSI broadcast and then I watched several hours of recorded shows and some live TV (if you can call watching the Mariners get swept - again - "live") and it was flawless. No dropped frames, no disconnects, very smooth. It's a good 40 feet away up one floor and through a few walls - no problem at all. It'd be nice if the MVP had wirless built in with a slighly more reslient network logic and a little bit more of a buffer so this wasn't quite so "on the edge" - maybe their rummored updated version will include this. Not sure why the Linksys equipment wouldn't work for me reliably and D-Link does - but given D-Link is a good %30 cheaper, I'll take it...
