I now have an issue where digital audio is not muted during a FF/REW operation which results in sporadic blips of audio and the receiver (connected via SPDIF) going nuts trying to decode it. Analog audio mutes properly. I am using the default STV, Sage video decoder with DXVA enabled, and AC3Filter.
The little speaker volume icon near the timeline turns red, but seems only effective with analog, not digital.
Has anyone had this problem and fixed it in the new version? It was working fine with the older 6.1.19 version. I am wondering if I have possibly found a bug?

OK, I sent a request for Sage tech support. What I got back was a note that says they don't support custom STVs and plugins. I replied stating my reasons why I think it might be the fault of the internal Sage player not muting digital audio, rather than the plugin.
While I am waiting for their next reply, I would like to verify how the plugin works, and whether it has anything to do with muting the audio while skipping. Does the plugin have a part in muting the audio, or is that all up to the player?
Is there anything else in the audio subsystem that could be the culprit? Subtle AC3Filter setting wrong? Possible driver update to the onboard audio chip? Is it worth busting open the HTPC case and scrounging together another sound card and installing it, or is it certainly in either Sage or the plugin?
Thoughts anyone? Nielm?
