SageTV Client 2.2: Error (-9): All encoders in use

When trying to use a single SageTV 2.2 Client I can only view the same channel as the host is currently tuned to.

When I try to change channels from the Client, the channel up/down arrows are grayed out, and, when I try to go to the EPG and use direct access to select a different channel, I get an error that reads in part:

"Error (-9): All encoders in use by Clients playing "Live" TV"

What should I do to enable the channel up/down arrows Client and EPG channel changing?

Thanks!

Do you have multiple tuners? If not, I don't believe you can change the channel for live TV when multiple PCs are playing live TV. If you have multiple tuners, I thought it would switch to another tuner when the client changed channels, if there is a tuner available.

Andy

What a brain fart I had.

I am using a single tuner and not thinking.

Of course it can only tune a single channel at any given time.

I had the Host running while trying to use the Client too.

Thanks!

Opus,
I've been talking with Bob over here http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...170#post221170
about this same error message. I was wondering if you could check this out and see if there is a reason why I am getting this error message.
I posted a debug file there too.
Thanks in advance,
Dana

Actually, I noticed that discussion & replied before I saw your comment here... for future reference: if I don't reply to something, that usually means I don't have a suggestion. You can contect tech support for help with debug logs.
