I would think it would be the same as if you weren't using SageMC, no? Through Detailed Settings?

I'm not sure, since I've never used an import at this point. If you do try it, let us know how it works out.

Rename the extension to the import either .stv or .xml. Either one works. Go into Detailed setup - Advanced and import like any plugin.

Help with Touchscreen

Hello,

Currently I've got a projector and 8" touchscreen on my pc to select music and movies and such. I really like the green and black sagemc but it doesn't work the greatest with a touchscreen only. I know there is studio, but does anyone have a quick and easy way to add one button that goes to the main screen (or perhaps a back button) on the screen? i'm really lost and programming doesn't come natural to me, so rather than waste hours i thought i'd see if anyone had done anything like this. I also wasnt sure if it is something that could be done in the themes, but i doubt it. thought i'd ask here first, then onto studio forums.

thanks,

Wouldn't work how? You couldn't see it to import it? It gave you an error importing? Or it didn't function? I don't think it works on ripped DVDs but it should work on mpgs.

Somethings wrong. You should see purple marked sections on the green timebar. That is where the commercials are.

What versions of DM and SA are you running? They have changed drastically since I wrote the Wiki part. I may need to update them.

Here is generally what DM should look like when you get it setup right.

Are you getting .txt files in the same directory as your .mpg files?

Oh, BTW, the 33 setting may not apply to you. I have 3 tuners in my box, so I wanted up to 3 threads of SA running at once (33x3 is 99, out of 100).

Once the purple marks show up, you just have to enable AutoComSkip in the options menu of SageMC (hit ESC). (You don't have to do anything, for the purple marks to show up in SageMC, well, other than setting up SA and DM correctly.)

thanks for the prompt reply. I'm using the latest SA beta I believe, and DIRMON2, so a little different. I am getting the text files. I haven't looked at them.

I think the problem is that I primarily am recording ATSC files, and I only after posting discovered SA doesn't yet support them.

Comskip I think does read ATSC tv files, I think I'll try to get that working instead until SA gets ATSC support before I plunk down my 10$.

Ha...yeah, ATSC is a little strange. He actually says that it is working with ATSC, or somewhat working, I think. Some shows that I've recorded have the commercial breaks right where they are supposed to be, but the majority of the ATSC shows, show NO commercial breaks, or maybe just one...

He's working on SA now, now that DM2 is where he wants it. Actually, I am using DM2, not the older one.

I have a PVR-500 that I'm using with Verizon FiOS SDTV (2 STB's), and then a FusionHDTV 5 Lite that I'm using with an OTA antenna.

Does anyone else have the problem where Sage will just freeze when you press "stop"? The popup asking for resume/delete/restart never comes up and I have to ctrl-alt-del to get out.

Instructions from Nielm here as linked in WIKI

I had some problems with the color as noted in this link but somehow it seemed to right itself

Thanks...

Got it working. I had tried to do this before but it didn't work. I had to change the exact directions a little to get it to work correctly. In this case I guess the 2nd time was the charm.
