Do you use the newest SageMC version 6.7 ? The SageMC options are available in Settings/DetailesSetup/Advanced, it's the last button in the right pane ...

Does anyone else feel that it would make more since to have the menu items center aligned, versus right aligned? Or is that an MCE thing?

Just wondering...

I think you'll find people on both sides of that issue. I tend to prefer the right justified. I also think that is the way MCE does it, so that's why it was done that way.

BTW, I see you are still using my logo

That I am, that I am...very nice job.

I just think it looks kind of funny to see so much "bar" out to the left on the smaller items.

Would be nice if this was another...option?

I am using SageMC 16x9 v 5.10. There's no menu item as described. I assumed it was in sync with the other version of SageMC, but I guess not.

5.10 is the base version of SageMC. To get the features he is talking about, you need to download the "Latest Dev Build," and install that (just the xml file, if I remember correctly).

Thanks. I got the dev XML installed. I still don't see that menu in the settings though. Hmm.

How did you install the XML, did you 'load' or 'import' it (you have to 'load' it ...) ?

I stopped sage and changed sage.properties.

The new XML must be loaded because now I see some animations that I didn't before.

I ended up changing changing some things in the properties file, like turning on HD icons. Hopefully everything is accessible that way.

Unfortunately, the HD icon indicator doesn't seem to work even though I found its property and turned it on. Maybe the icon file is missing...? Anyway, it's progress.

Thanks for the help.

When you go to the Settings screen, do you see a 'SageMC STV Version' listed in the right hand pane ?

And yes, you will need to download the HDTV icons separately, they are not part of the STV download...

Here's the download for the alternate icons (including HDTV).

Nope. It looks like the attached. (I scrolled down the list, there's nothing about SageMC... just disk space etc.)

Ah, sorry, you need this download... (unload that in your SageTV/SageTV/ install directory, using folder names)

Yeah, well, it was an import, so at least it's just a download now...

I think mlbdude wanted to keep the basic version unchanged, and left it up to Dirk to add anything else...but I could be wrong.

Sorry it took so long to figure out, it's been a while since I updated...

It may be time for flachbar to break off from this thread and start a new thread specifically for his version. He's done a great job with it and it is becoming enough of a different animal to deserver its own thread. Maybe have the first post explain the installation and give a little history. I can see after 106 threads how users new and old can get confused. Just a suggestion and my 2 cents.

I think this is a good idea, but he already does have his own thread, the "Add on" thread.

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17979

But, he probably needs to edit the title, and update the first post, because it still says it's an import, when it's really not anymore.
