I do have my set top working with my hauppauge card and the only thing I am trying to figure out is how to get my media extender remote to spark up the VOD. I suspect I'll have to get an IR decoder and then input the codes into the IR Blaster s/w ; essentially reassigning an existing one on the media extender remote to this function.

I just posted a topic like yours today about getting digital with Shaw. They just sent me the decoder last week, I'm suppose to have 30 days free trial. I am not sure I want to switch yet. The decoder is not yet activated. I kinda like my setup; I never run in trouble with my hauppage mce-500 dual tuners and my analog cable is not that bad quality...

Could you let me know when your setup is working like you want?
I'm kinda worried with the IR blaster and all the new crap that digital brings...
